As a company, we see it as our duty to make an active contribution to sustainability. Our aim is to make our work as climate-friendly as possible - and help our customers to operate more sustainably with our IT solutions.
As part of our commitment, we specifically promote remote working and digitalized processes in order to avoid emissions from commuting and significantly reduce paper consumption. By consciously using modern technologies, we are shaping our digital future in a more efficient and environmentally friendly way.
In order to systematically capture and specifically improve our environmental impact, we work together with the renowned partner Swiss Climate. The cooperation enables us to provide a sound analysis of our current carbon footprint, the identification of potential savings and the development of effective, measurable measures to reduce our emissions.
Zinitrionic Suisse AG was first awarded the Swiss Climate Label BRONZE CERTIFICATE in October 2025. The label confirms that the company has established a full CO2 management – including clear climate strategy, annual carbon accounting, defined reduction targets, climate protection contributions and transparent communication. Compliance with the guidelines is confirmed annually by an external testing body.

In the base year 2024, the emissions of Zinitrionic were fully recorded for the first time. The overall balance is 22 t CO2, with the largest emission sources being:
Business travel: 13 t CO₂
Commuting: 6 t CO₂
Heating: 2 t CO₂
IT-Devices: 1 t CO₂
Zinitrionic has ambitious climate targets: reducing emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2040. For more information, see this article by Swiss Climate.
